Product Designer (UI/UX)
What we design is not only screens. It runs from software like the Vacatio Solution PMS and the FineStay app, through hardware like the self check-in kiosk display and the smart door lock, out to a physical space: VACATIO Hotel Samseong, which we operate ourselves. Here, the whole path from a guest checking in at a kiosk to standing at their door is designed by one hand.

An AI all-in-one PMS that takes a host from booking to settlement in one tool. It comes in two editions: unattended solo operation, and multi-staff operation.

Holds one inventory across many sales channels without overbooking, and recomputes the rate on top of it every day.
Hardware — locks, kiosks, AI response
Smart locks and room controllers, self check-in kiosks, and call-and-text AI all move on the same flow as the booking data.

The app where travelers find boutique stays and book them outright, with no inquiry.
VACATIO Hotel Samseong
A hotel we run ourselves — the living lab where we prove what we build alongside real guests. It opens formally in October 2026.
Through these products we change countless moments every day. We now process over ₩50B in transaction volume a year, thousands of properties run on our service, we have raised ₩6B, and we have stayed operationally profitable for two consecutive years. Investors and the industry pay attention — but what we’re actually proud of is the people on this team.

What you'll do
- Design and build the UI of the Vacatio Solution PMS and the FineStay app.
- Design the interfaces guests touch directly — the kiosk display, the smart door lock.
- Watch how people actually move through VACATIO Hotel Samseong, and feed what you see back into the product.
- Build and maintain the design system reused across every product.
- Find where to improve from data, define the problem, and solve it.

- You understand engineering well enough to design UI with real structure.
- You have designed a whole user flow, not just a single screen.
- You have built a design system and actually kept it running.
- You can understand our services and propose a better experience than the one we have.
- You adapt fast and learn fast in a demanding environment.
- You are comfortable working across disciplines.

The work and requirements above matter, of course. But before the role, we are people — and we are looking for teammates who can run in step with us. People first, role second.
Listing out specialties often makes us self-conscious — what we thought was our edge frequently turns out to be an edge in one particular environment only. So we look less at who ticks the boxes and more at who we can be with for the long run.
Honestly, this is not a team that is only comfortable. The direction changes often and there is a lot of work. We do not take that for granted, so we try hard to reward contribution as it comes. What carried us through the chaotic stretches, in the end, was trust in each other.

We review your free-form application for fit with the role and with VACATIO.
1st interview
A culture-fit conversation with the hiring team. Over the phone, 15–30 minutes.
2nd interview
Your experience and projects, with the team you’d work in. 30–60 minutes.
Offer
We agree on terms, confirm the offer, and walk you through joining.
- There may be an additional interview, a take-home assignment or a reference check.
- Everyone who joins goes through a 3–6 month probation period, reviewed at the end.
